Following its launch in 2022 and two years of successful operations, the project is continuing its progress towards Sport Excellence, with the aim of detection and development of future champions.
In 2024, this progression will take shape thanks to the arrival of private partners GIANT, the prestigious bicycle brand.
And also the partnership with NIPPO Corporation will be getting stronger and closer. NIPPO will be a main sponsor of new development team along side with EF Education First, NIPPO-EF-Martigues in Région Sud. U19 Academy Region Sud Powered by GIANT and NIPPO-EF-Martigues will have close ties with synergy, taking important role in the young riders' step-up process.
With the strong support of the RÉGION SUD, and in recognition of its strong attachment to our region and the promotion of its young talents, we are proud to present, with our core values, our new name: U19 ACADEMY - RÉGION SUD Powered by Giant

U19 ACADEMY - RÉGION SUD Powered by Giant, born in Provence, has been designed to give our young talents, hope and concrete opportunity to reach the highest level.
Make dreams come true! through work, self-sacrifice, but also through the revitalization of the work of local clubs, the extension of their activities and the support of qualified experts all coming with experience of the profields
It is acquired and goes through the development of qualities, through a progressive learning process in the different disciplines of the competition.
U19 ACADEMY - RÉGION SUD Powered by Giant, open to the international and the World, is an accelerator for a future professional career and is an integral part of the development project

Concept
Within the framework of a unique programme, focusing on the perception and integretion of the individual qualities of each, we hope that each member of the U19 ACADEMY - RÉGION SUD Powered by Giant will be able to develop all its potential .
Our mutal ambtion is to assist him on the growing pro paths.
Thus, each young rider will benefit from:
• Regular monitoring of his sports activity
• Coaching by pro staff only
• Support by experts with recognized experience in each field of performance (training, nutrition, postural studies, etc.)
• Preparation and optimization training camps
• Effective and regular Health monitoring (Vo2 Max tests, Isocinetic tests etc … but also Covid tests …)
• Loan of equipment including a competition bike provided by , tt bike, smart trainer, etc.
• An international competition programme with UCI Junior 2024 calendar races
